SF Camerawork’s annual juried exhibition presents work by emerging and under-recognized artists selected by a panel of artists, curators, and critics convened by the curatorial team. Drawing more than 150 submissions annually from across the United States and abroad, the exhibition highlights current directions in contemporary photography.

ABOUT: As part of the Bay Area’s inaugural Further Triennial, SF Camerawork will present Unseen California: Reframing the Landscape, developed in partnership with the Unseen California Artist-in-Residence Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The exhibition brings together artists working across photography, video, and installation whose research-driven, site-responsive practices interrogate dominant narratives surrounding land, ecology, and history.
