Rae Carland's work has been widely exhibited and screened in galleries and museums in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin and Sydney. Carland is Chair of the photography program at California College of the Arts. Her photographs have been widely published and reviewed in numerous publications, including: The New York Times, Artforum, Art Papers, Big, Curve, Los Angeles Times, Spin, Details, Out, and The Village Voice.
