"Through my work, I hope to gain an understanding of things in the process of becoming. I try to create a scene that exists in a tenuous balance, suspended between an unseen past and an uncertain future. This is a place that faces both fear and fascination."

Noah Wilson has exhibited his work nationally and has received awards and fellowships from Kala, the Joan Mitchell Foundation, and Vermont Studio Center. Wilson's work is in many public and private collections including The Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, the Achenbach Foundation, Gap Inc., and the Whitney Museum Library.
