Gerald Slota's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums, in solo and group shows both nationally and internationally. He received the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship in 2001 and 2009. His work is in the permanent collections of institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, George Eastman House, The Marvel Collection and among. His work was the subject of a monograph published by SF Camerawork in 2012.
