Bay Area native Kimberly Austin transfers found images, correspondences, and ephemera to film before collaging the new imagery through the antiquarian Van Dyke process. She was the winner of the 2003 James D. Phelan Art Award in Photography. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is included in numerous public and private collections.
