This image is from the series Representations, in which Cynthia Greig draws directly onto everyday objects that she has whitewashed to create what she refers to as “photographic documents of three-dimensional drawings.” Greig’s work is held in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Light Work, Syracuse; George Eastman House, Rochester; Coleçao Foto Arte, Brasilia; the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, and numerous others.
