After spending 13 years as an award-winning staff photojournalist, Christine Koci Hernandez has transitioned exclusively into a career as a fine artist. She is the recipient of the Hearst Newspaper’s Eagle Award; the Ken McLaughlin Newspaper Photographer of the Year: Award of Excellence; and has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Her work is held in the collection of The Smithsonian American Art Museum.
