SF Camerawork is pleased to present Brendan Showed Me The Deep Web, a project by Brent Nuñez on view from September 3 - October 18, 2014.  Nuñez first met Brendan in preschool, so he doesn't actually remember meeting him. They grew up together, and it was Brendan who would later spark Nuñez's curiosity and help him navigate the deep web. On Monday, May 12, 2014 Brendan was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit computer hacking and transmission malware. He's facing up to 10 years in prison.

Many people have heard of the deep web, few have actually seen it, fewer have explored into the dangerous cyber territories that the deep web has to offer. This is a documentation of Nuñez's personal experience and journey into the deep web.
