The Rev. Lovely Moore is a remarkable octogenarian who, at nearly 90 years of age, manages a herd of cattle and ministers to an African American congregation of Reformed Zion Union Apostolic church members in rural Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Rev. Moore has been a farmer his entire life. His hands tell the story of life as a keeper of the land.
