This work is one of a series done by using a cut newspaper page as a "positive" to create a photogram on expired B/W photo exposure paper placed in the sun. The paper develops as two colors, which would change to black and white if chemically developed and fixed. But instead, the exposed image is scanned to capture it permanently. Different batches turn different colors, and once they are scanned and printed, the papers are pieced together (not layered) and cut by hand.
