Virtual Artist Talk with Anna Rotty

Virtual Presentation + Q&A with FORECAST 2025 Finalist Anna Rotty!

Anna Rotty lives on Tiwa Pueblo land known as Albuquerque where she received her MFA in photography, and currently teaches, at the University of New Mexico. Her work investigates water, light and infrastructure, informing her understanding of orientation and place. Anna’s work is currently on view in SF Camerawork’s FORECAST 2025 Exhibition; she’s been published by Southwest Contemporary and Lenscratch, and has published two books with National Monument Press.

July Members’ Critique

SF Camerawork's monthly critiques offer members the opportunity to share and receive feedback on their current projects. This critique was led in person by Adrian Martinez- Photographer, Independent Publisher, and Co-Director of Book & Job Gallery, a photographer-run studio, darkroom, and gallery space in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. 

When: Tuesday, July 29th 2025, 6pm- 8pm

Presenter slots are on a first come first served basis, with members able to present once per quarter/season each calendar year (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter).

Foraged- Plant Film Developing Workshop
Saturday, May 3rd

This sustainable film-developing workshop and collective urban weeding project is being hosted by Beatrice Thornton, organized around 'Balsamic Time', Thornton’s solo exhibition of foraged plant-developed gelatin silver prints currently on view at Small Works Projects.

Join us for a fun and creative afternoon learning how to make dynamic collages with Bay Area artist Kristen Wong. Get ready to show your artistic side and make bold works of art using your own photos plus provided collage items, which will then be made into printed pieces inspired by Kristen's exhibition "False Spring" at Strike-slip Gallery.

*No experience necessary, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm.

Tricia Rainwater is a Choctaw multimedia artist based in the Bay Area, with roots in the Central Valley and New Mexico. Her artistic portfolio, which includes self-portraiture, sculpture, large-scale murals, and installations, has been featured at the Berkeley Art Center, ICA San Francisco, MOCA TorontoMuz Collective, and ICA San Jose, among others.
