SFC’s Fine Print Program offers collectors the opportunity to acquire exceptional photographs by established and emerging artists with longstanding connections to SFC.

Built over decades, the program brings together a distinctive selection of works by nationally and internationally recognized artists alongside important voices in Bay Area photography. Many are limited editions, with some representing the final print available from an edition.

Fine Prints are offered exclusively through SF Camerawork, providing a unique opportunity to build or expand a photography collection while directly supporting SFC’s exhibitions and artist programs.

Debbie Fleming Caffery is celebrated for her atmospheric black-and-white photographs exploring rural communities, labor, and the relationship between people and place. Known for her deep shadows, dramatic contrasts, and intimate approach to portraiture, Caffery creates images that are both documentary and deeply expressive.

Born in Louisiana, Caffery has spent decades photographing communities in the American South and Mexico, particularly sugarcane workers and their families. A recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, her work is held in major museum collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
