2012 BENEFIT AUCTION

We are pleased to present SF Camerawork’s 2012 Benefit Auction. As you know, the proceeds of this annual fundraiser help us to fulfill our mission which is to encourage and support emerging artists to explore new directions in the photographic arts.

We are extraordinarily fortunate that this endeavor has been supported by a dedicated and generous group of individuals. We extend special thanks to Tony Page of Page Imageworks; Chris Barnett and Reinhold Gras of Sterling Art Services; Seth Dickerman of Dickerman Prints; Mark Hanson of Hanson Digital; and Gawain Weaver of Gawain Weaver Art Conservation.

We also acknowledge the strong leadership of our 2012 Auction Chair, Michelle Blakeley, as well as the contributions of Jeanne Friscia, Ellen Shershow Peña, and Cory Scozzari.

Finally, we extend our deepest gratitude to the community of artists, collectors, gallery owners, and private dealers who have contributed a fantastic selection of prints to this year’s Auction. Without a doubt, the Camerawork Auction consistently represents a wide selection of the best contemporary and vintage photographs available.

This year, in an effort to be more environmentally conscious and economically pragmatic, we will not print Auction catalogs. However, the catalog can be ordered, print-on-demand, from Magcloud.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff, thank you for your continued interest and support of our programs. We hope to see you at the Auction!
