SF Camerawork is thrilled to support the recent WOMEN PHOTOGRAPH publication What We See: Women & Nonbinary Perspectives through the Lens. A Tribute to Loren Rex Cameron
Join us on Sunday, July 9, from 3-5PM PDT, at SF Camerawork, in collaboration with Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, as we host an in-person and online tribute event dedicated to the late artist, Loren Rex Cameron, in which close community members, including Susan Stryker, Paula Ky Santos, Jamison Green, and Percy Wise, will pay homage to his life and art. The event will be hybrid so that members of the Bay Area LGBTQIA+ community and beyond can participate. This program is co-presented by Small Press Traffic.

Summer Solstice Celebration & Art Walk
Please join SF Camerawork and Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture and resident partners for the second annual Summer Solstice Celebration & Art Walk on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event – free and open to the public – features exhibitions, performances, artist and curator talks, and artmaking activities presented by FMCAC and its resident organizations, including SF Camerawork, Haines Gallery, FOR-SITE, Museo Italo Americano, and San Francisco Children’s Art Center.

Dismantling Monoliths Opening Reception
Join us for the opening reception of Dismantling Monoliths Saturday, January 21, 3-6 pm.
Dismantling Monoliths is a group exhibition of artists who catalyze their medium to challenge conventions. Through critical engagement and intimate gestures, Dismantling Monoliths calls attention to the multidirectional ways in which contemporary artists are recontextualizing the canon of Western history while envisioning fresh perspectives for identity representation, visibility, and inclusion.
