SF Camerawork is excited to welcome photographer and educator Sarah Christianson to lead the monthly members’ critique on July 20th. The critiques are a great opportunity to receive feedback on your photographic practice and to see what other SF Camerawork members are working on. ABOUT SARAH CHRISTIANSON
Sarah Christianson has exhibited nationally and internationally including a solo show, When the Landscape is Quiet Again, at SF Camerawork in 2014. Christianson’s work documents the subtleties and nuances of the Midwestern landscape through long-term projects that evoke a strong sense of place, history, and time. Her work is in major collections including Duke University, the National Museum of Photography in Copenhagen, and several institutions in the Midwest. She received her MFA in photography from the University of Minnesota in 2009 and published her first book Homeplace in 2013. She has taught photography at Academy of Art University, City College of San Francisco, RayKo Photo Center, and University of Minnesota.
