FORECAST 2019: SF Camerawork’s Annual Survey Exhibition
DESCRIPTION
SF Camerawork is pleased to announce the call for entry for Forecast 2019: SF Camerawork's annual survey of contemporary photography. The work of 5 - 15 selected artists will be exhibited at SF Camerawork’s gallery in San Francisco (June 27 - August 17, 2019). Photographers are invited to submit projects for review by this year's jurors -- gallerist Beryl Bevilacque, photo-editor Samantha Cooper, and artist Erica Deeman. The jurors will consider all forms of photography ranging from traditional to experimental with a focus on original and thought-provoking projects.

JURORS
BERYL BEVILACQUE, ARTIST LIAISON AND SALES, Jessica Silverman Gallery, San Francisco
Beryl Bevilacque is an Artist Liaison at the Jessica Silverman Gallery in San Francisco. In addition to working very closely with contemporary art photographers including, John Houck, Matt Lipps, and Tammy Rae Carland, Bevilacque has exhibited her own work in San Francisco and New York.
SAMANTHA COOPER, SENIOR PHOTO EDITOR, PLATFORMS, WIRED Magazine
Samantha Cooper is the Senior Photo Editor, Platforms at WIRED. Previously, she was a curator at Instagram, a creative producer at Airbnb, and a photography instructor at the Harvey Milk Photo Center in San Francisco, CA.
ERICA DEEMAN, ARTIST
Erica Deeman is a San Francisco-based artist. Her primary passion is portraiture, focusing on themes of identity, humanity, gender, and race. Her work is in the numerous collections including the Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego, CA; New Orleans Museum of Art, New Orleans, LA, Perez Art Museum Miami, Miami, FL; and Pier 24 Photography, San Francisco, CA.
